Boston isn't particularly more dirtier than other teams, they just get away with a lot of crap that you see other players get penalized for. Or the perception of that is there. No or reduced penalties, fines, suspensions.

So...running the opposing teams goaltender multiple times, head shots and knee on knee hits are clean ? That's news to me. There's a reason why Boston is in the lead here and it's a landslide. As a whole they are the dirtiest team in the league and Debrusk contributes to that.

I think Boston gets that rep from their old days. I dont think they are particularly dirty. Marchand sure but thats about it. Only thing I would say about them is they get away with penalties. If you are going to beat them better beat them 5v5.

I wish the Avs were a bit dirtier. Most of their penalties seem to be for being stupid as a rock aka being Ian Cole.
Edit: Should have looked up the actual stats before making this post. I love Kadri and Z, though.

That particular fanbase doesn’t really care for physical hockey. Their GM is on the record saying “physicality in the nhl playoffs is not important”

Also, Debrusk would be by far the second most physical player on that roster, behind only one player that can’t be trusted to play more than 5 or 6 minutes per night LOL. How sad is that
