ok so the most frequent PP pattern is for NB and MJ to appear to be in trouble so the PK sags and then that's when they try to swing it to the point and around to Ovie. Which means MJ is really a genius.

Sometimes there advantages to have a nice list of things to do instead of watching the CAPS frustrate me even more.

I think the only ones having a good game are Schmidt and Grubauer so far. Everyone else has played subpar. Burakovsky's been most unfortunate IMO..

Watching the goal replay... I think Ovi was exhausted after several shifts in a row. Didn't have much left to make another acceleration. Not an excuse, just my impression.

He is indeed not in best shape mentally.

Watching that goal replay, OV stopped skating on the back check. From beginning to end the goal was squarely on him.

Anyway, while Ovi plays the blue line in PP things like that will happen. No big deal. They need to play better, that's another topic entirely.
