Yes - but why do the Jets so often make goalies look good? Question stands even in this instance where the goalie actually IS good. It just happens way too often.

Shesterkin had one of his best games of the season last night numbers wise. This wasn't the same as almost 50 shots with few chances like the 1-0 Arizona game. I agree the Jets make goalies look good most nights and that Shesterkin is already very good this year, but still. He saved almost 3 goals on his own by the stats. That's insane for an NHL goalie.

Every major league franchise is only as good as their owner. Unfortunately.

Not always.

Marge Schott owned the Cincinnati Reds when they were a major force in baseball, including winning the World Series despite her racism and avid promotion of Nazism. And not the subtle racism of Republicans and conservative commentators. She literally called some of her players over-paid n-words on live television, denounced "sneaky" Jews and praised Hitler. And when an umpire dropped dead during the first game of a season, the game was cancelled and she complained on TV that she was being cheated. And yet, her teams were successful.
