Chris Osgood letting one in from center ice is rather brutal.
With a trip to the Finals on the line no less. He shut the door in Game 6 though.

Almost as terrible a no-call as the Emerson goal. Just embarrassing to watch, even all these years later.
How hasn't this one been mentioned yet?
Yeah My "favorite" part is when the NHL came out with the explanation after the fact: oh you can technically have your skate in the crease if it's a rebound/possession
Except they literally went the ENTIRE year with "you better not have the toe of your skate in the crease or else this goal won't count"
Hilarious

I'd have to say Bieksa's OT goal to send the Canucks to the cup final. Though I don't think the Sharks would have come back anyway, but still...kinda a s***ty way to get eliminated.
Don't forget the Roenick shot from the blue line in game 3, round 1 with the series tied 1-1. Osgood had some weird issues with long-range goals that year.Came to post this. Not only from center ice, it wasn't even on goal. He deflected into his own net. He let a couple goals in from center ice that postseason. Macinnis got him too.
Lars Eller yesterday.
56 saves, standing on his head, into double OT, on the brink of elimination... and then it ends like this:
Looking at the ref during play...
bobby lou was talking to the ref during play when the puck crossed the net. maybe because of that big hit that happened just beforeI don't see it....
