If I am reading spotrac correctly, the Broncos take on 85(!!!) M of dead cap in 2024 and 49.6 M (!!) in 2025 if they cut Wilson in the off-season. I think you have to do it at this point. Tank the living hell out of this season, get one of QB's in the draft and just start over and aim for like 2026.

Also, Denver was stupid enough to give Wilson that monster extension which hasn't even kicked in yet. Denver gambled and they really stunk up the joint.
