I still don't understand how anyone with a brain can think putting any piece of paper(folded or otherwise) between the stick and the ball and if it touches both then it's a 1st down makes any sense whatsoever. Say paper has a thickness of 0.1 mm, even not folded if he's short by less than 0.1 mm then the paper will touch both and that's assuming they do it all correctly anyway. I think that may be the biggest joke of anything I've seen in the NFL this year. And I think he got the first down and the spot was bad, but you don't measure like that
