yeah....My point still stands.

Zacha has been BEASTING IT UP but Boqvist at #2 with the xGF% is pretty misleading 'cause he only played 2 games.
Well sure, I wouldn't judge Boqvist much off of 2 games. That takes nothing away from anyone else.

I love Palms but he is a complimentary player and the team won't succeed if he's apart of the "core". It's like Oshie, STL was mediocre when he was a core player but he fit perfectly on Washington taking a complimentary role behind Ovie, Backstrom, Kuvnetsov, and Carlson.

Don't want to get rid of Palms but this team won't be successful if he's a go to guy. Need Hughes, Nico, Zacha, and Bratt to develop

I wasn't really talking about anyone else.

Just wanted to point out the oddity of where Boqvist was listed.

Anyway, are you as apathetic as I am right now after this loss?

I just no longer give a crap anymore.

I feel so beaten down, you know?

I gave up on the season like 3 games ago at least. All that this franchise can do now is right this ship so all of our young players don't get infected with this loser system and mentality.

So if they didn’t blow the 3rd period leads they’d be 8-3, even if they only blew half of them they’d be 5-6. Crazy.

This dickhead just said when asked about why we lose momentum in the third after we score a goal with "I don't see it that way, so I can't answer to that."

No shit we do because you put a subpar line after almost all our goals.

Why does Hughes continue to get so much 3v3 time and PS opportunities when he has performed horrendously in these situations?

He doesn't have to earn anything? That's great coaching.

Let the damn kid develop properly.

We have been outscored 19-7 in 3rd periods this season. In 11 f***ing games, 19 goals against in the 3rd period alone...

Really don’t understand the hate here except as a function of frustration. We played a reasonably good game. Came back from a goal down in the second. Made some unfortunate mistakes that cost us a couple goals against.

But this was night and day better than the way we were playing early in the season.

I get it. Shootout losses are heartbreaking. The urge to find a goat or goats is there. Too bad we didn’t have Gusev for the shootout maybe?

I'd contend that the only reason they look better is because they are talented players and are developing some chemistry. How many years do we have to play this game, though? At some point you need some damn results. Win some games. I don't care how good you look losing a game and frankly anymore don't give a damn how bad you look winning one.

I think it’s talent shining through and games against bad/tired teams.

Yotes played a bad game. Tampa hasn’t been playing well was tired and bad. Philly sucks. Go further back to our wins. Rags are a disaster. Canucks played a poor game.

Can you define "overblown" please?

I think it was just a remarkable DB move, so do you include me in the overreacting crowd?

Lol after giving it to the fans in his post game interview in the previous game, he has the audacity to cup his ear after scoring a fluke?

Yes, he should get ****ing shelled.

I already have one pic.

Here's another :

I said it in the beginning of the GDT and I'll reiterate it here. I see no good in doing a 180 on a guy who I feel is a vital part of this team. I don't agree with what he said after the Tampa game since he doesn't have the right perspective, but I also don't agree with the fans who believe he slighted us in some way with those comments either. I see it as a guy who is just as frustrated as the rest of us, but didn't articulate things the way he should have in the heat of the moment after another shitty loss.

This celebration to me was nothing more than a "let me hear the f***ing cheers" since he scored. If it's viewed as anything more, it's by fans who have soured on him and feel he's needling them. Taking this personally is just silly.

OMG Palms may be our best forward this season so far. Trade him? Wow.

Some other thoughts: Vats playing his best hockey since he’s been here. Nico had a great game. And Hughes made some extraordinarily elite plays. Beating 2 guys in the first period and trapping them in our end. He’s a one man break out but please be hard on the passes. None of this soft stuff. When he learns to finish at an elite level - his shot - forget about it. Also Sevs is adapting to playing on Subban’s left very nicely. Zacha - as everyone has noted.

I am underwhelmed by our 4th line. If they’d only establish the damn forecheck, it’s chip and chase and miss the chase - the D gets away. Need better first and second men in.

Hynes cares. His whole presser was just about how good we look losing
