I know I'm probably still in the minority, but Fleury hasn't been so good or consistent that he is a must have in the lineup. Not that he's been awful at all either, but he's probably been the worst of the bottom 3 D (obviously some of the top guys struggled for various reasons, but they aren't getting sat) and I'd like to see more of Bean.

Even I was coming around on Fleury at the end of last year where he was inconsistent but had some awesome games. I haven't seen that awesome game yet this season.

This guy is a trooper. Ive been on 4 separate 14 hour bus rides with the Army and i was a walking pile of crap for a day afterwards and I wasn’t driving.

The bigger issue here is that, as anyone who has ever driven from Canada to Raleigh can attest, Paquette is arriving in Raleigh with 5 pounds of body weight attributable to Tim Horton's, Taco Bell, and Bojangles.

Knowing Columbus like to play a compact defense to minimize shots on the goalie, maybe we are trying to play lower on offense with all 3 forwards to increase our scoring chances. We would need more speed on defense to cover with deeper forwards.

Yeah maybe, but i don't like playing vs them because, to me, they seems very very physical and i don't really like the matchup. So scratching Fleury tonight....it worries me.

Im not a huge fan of it either but Im trying to justify it.

I guess when we can control substituting, to a degree, we should be able to put them in better situations.

Bean is probably pretty pissed off he’s not getting to play somewhere since he said that’s what he wanted. Making AHL money and not playing in either league blows. They were so cap tied though they couldn’t really afford to send him down OR play him while everyone else was healthy. Now that they have some wiggle room they get him in the lineup as kind of thank you for your patience.

Just a worthless feeling, but it *feels* like they could walk away from the non-TBL portion of the division if they win these next two games against CBJ and FLA. Of course, that means they shouldn't allow a let-down over the weekend against CHI, but still.

My mom used to drive me and my sisters from Apex to Kitchener multiple times a year for close to 15 years, I know that feeling all too well.
