The Sharks forwards were terrible with the puck tonight. Everybody had an off game except for Couture and Thornton.
That won’t be the case on Tuesday.
It was a sign that they were gassed.
The team has been banged up and playing injured and/or short all series (skating 5 D after Vlasic's injury in Game 2 takes its toll).
Pavs lost teeth, Couture lost teeth, Vlasic missed 2.5 games, EK is still not 100%, JT missed a game on the suspension. Sharks had to work harder to cover for those weaknesses and spent all of Games 2-4 chasing and shortening the bench.....allwhile Vegas has been able to comfortably cycle all their lines
You see the toll that's all taken on the Sharks in this game--the tired legs, the noodle arms, the unwise decisions.
And yet, they held.
And now back to SJ, and the fatigue factor has been evened up a bit
