Unfortunately the current top pairing feautures the only two guys who can consistently do that. With Barberio & Warsofsky being the next "best"

That's where the Avs are going to really, really miss Girard.


Guy was an absolute beast at creating clean zone exists either by passing it or by just skating it out himself. We already were missing Johnson pretty badly in this regard, Girard was probably our best or 2nd best Dman at this.


3/6 of our Dmen(Nemeth, Barberio, Siemens) are terrible at this, and Warsofsky is just slightly above terrible at it.
