Eriksson Ek is sooooo underrated. God damn that man is a player.

I prefer having young, future best-on-best players on the team rather than tired SHL veterans. It is good for their development to play international hockey. If we don't get a core of NHLers, were not going far, doesn't matter if we have Marcus Sörensen or Liam Öhgren in the top-6 so might as well pick the younglings. In the best case scenarios they are 13, 14th forward come the knock-out round.

With a World Cup and Olympics coming the next years I would think that all the kids from last years Djurgården should come the the WC this year. Lekkerimaki, Öhgren og Östlund played in the same team last year and have chemistry, and they will get a good learning experience if they come to the WC in Prague as 3.line or just reserves also for the experience itself. Together with Carlsson they could be the core of Sweden in a few years together with som NHL-ers.

How about Elias Salomonsson? He has outshined Pellika in SHL since WJC. He has a very mature style.

And does the old man, Strålman, still have what it takes?

I wanted Lekkerimäki in WC roster in Swedish troops winning silver or bronze why not gold medal right players from NHL will be USA or Sweden WC title. European-skaters mix with NHL American-skaters. Goligoski is a player in NT and need 6, 7, 8 NHLers and 3, 4, 5 slopes in good-class and a goalie in world-class.

Gold favorites 2024:

1 USA 2 Sweden 3 Czech Republic 4 Finland 5 Canada 6 Switzerland 7 France 8 Italy 9 Great Britain 10 Poland and Russia miss WC.

None wants Germany peeling.
