Let us be cautious here. Technically, the Pens could actually make a major trade with the Coyotes and still land Bedard! It would be completely legit. Teams can still make trades right now, but any acquired players would not be playoff eligible.

This is going to sound really lame .. I like imaging little comedy skits in my head. They can be 5 second quick hitters or couple min sketch. I grew up loving Kids in the Hall.

Last night when the ref was announcing 2 minute penalty for crosschecking against Irwin .. this quick 5 second skit came to mind.

NHL ref goes to announce a penalty "2 minute penalty .. cross dressing".

Then a hockey player in cross dress skates to the sin bin complaining to the ref. End scene.
