Nice deal for Vegas. Ferguson is a legit goalie prospect, he was hidden.

Pretty quick turn around from being drafted in the 7th round this past weekend to joining a new team days later.

Dammit that's not a very good return considering Methot is basically their best trade chip out of all the 26+ players.

Hamonic got a 1st and two 2nds so I was hoping for at least a 1st or a 2018 2nd instead of a 2020 one lol. Just not great trade negotation by GMGM so far.

If I were a Vegas fan I'd be pissed. At this point, it's pretty clear Vegas has no intention of doing anything except tanking next year and possibly for another year or two after that. A 2nd rounder on its own is pretty cheap for Methot, the fact that it's in 2020 is laughably bad.

No clue why McPhee rushed to trade Methot for that return. I'm sure if he waited a bit longer some team may have offered up more.

And it's a 2nd round selection that is three drafts away.
