Awkward..

I’m sure Fleury would be open to go back despite being unceremoniously dumped, I don’t he really is excited about going anywhere besides Vegas or Pittsburgh.

And someone just posted this on the Stars board: Jeff Marek apparently said that Vegas has been trying for Radek Faksa from Dallas or has tried

Where exactly are they getting this space?

Ugh... I said trading him in the first place was stupid.

All jokes aside, probably Dadonov and Brossoit would get it done. But I doubt Fleury wants to return to Vegas after the whole fiasco. Realistically, I want him retiring in Pittsburgh.

First round pick for a half off Flower?

Assuming Vegas doesn't miss the playoffs, the Sabres own VGK's 1st rounder in 2022. But right now, their 2022 and 2023 1st round picks are tied up conditionally via the Eichel trade. They might be able to word it like "CHI gets either VGK's 2023 or 2024 1st round pick --- CHI gets the 2023 1st rounder if BUF gets the 2022 1st, but CHI gets the 2024 1st if BUF gets the 2023".

Not sure Vegas wants to tie up 1sts until 2024 right now.
