Enormous jump for the big man - 12 spots from 2015. Won't see a bigger leap from year to year.

Thought long and hard about Gaunce, but in the end I went with the higher potential pick and voted Subban. I still think he's a long shot but his offensive potential is hard to ignore.
Brisbois was in the mix as well, but he's a lot more difficult to gauge. Thinking he comes in after Gaunce.

Edit: hopefully Tate Olsen comes onto the poll soon.

Gaunce to wrap up the top 6 which I think are basically guaranteed to be NHL players. Gets iffy from here for me.

Add Tate Olson.

Subban for me, I actually had him tied with Tryamkin. I definitely think he has the highest upside out of all of the choices left.

Gaunce. I think the tools are there, just need the box to go with it. Hopefully he can leapfrog Granlund on the depth chart (or both of them play well enough to make the 4C spot a competition).

Add Tate Olson, no doubt.

Went with Gaudette.

Had a solid first year in college and pulled off some nice moves.

Gaunce - looked fine when he was up.

Should add Stukel shortly, he is ahead of some of these guys already after his prospect camp.

I think I'll add him after Pedan, who is next on the list.

Putting together these polls has made me realize that this team has accumulated a ton of mid-tier defencemen.

Think Gaunce & Subban will both be NHL players sooner or later but think Subban has more potential of the 2 to make a bigger impact if all goes well. However I think Gaunce will have more longevity.

Gaunce has less upside than some of these guys but I think he's more likely to have a long Nhl career. After him it's either Stecher or Subban.

Gaunce seems more like the "great toolbox with very few tools" type to me. No flashy standout skills, but a great head for the game and willing to go to the dirty areas.

Anyway, him over Subban for me. I like Subban's upside, but Gaunce seems like a near lock to be a really effective bottom six guy in my opinion.

Part of the problem is also that they've insisted upon playing him in a position that plays to his weaknesses.

I think Gaunce is the only NHL lock left on the list, but I don't like his upside. Stetcher and Subban are undersized, although Stetcher has more years of development under his belt and should get at least a cup of coffee with the big club. I still like the Brisebois pick, 2 way defender who has NHL size, but he isn't turning 19 for 11 more days, so another year of junior for him.

I went with Brisebois, but if you pick any of those other guys you aren't wrong. We are definitely in the same tier of prospects here.

I don't see Gaunce having enough tools to sustain a meaningful NHL career. If he played physical and won a lot of faceoffs he could be a decent 4th liner but he's not there yet.

Yes, I forgot all about Pedan. He should definitely be up there next.
