Nikita has been playing pro hockey since he was 18

I said he could play with the pros. Ok, I perhaps should have said he can handle the NHL.

I think, from his short NHL tenure, he looked just fine at this level and for the most part exceeded the expectations of the faithful.

Oh okay, sorry for getting nit picky with you.

But I'd have to agree with you in that Nikita has looked very good in his short tenure here.

Juolevi for me. I just think his skill set/hockey IQ transfers over better than Boeser but Boeser is not too far behind.

Bowser's wrist shot is top notch and he would look great with Bo. Kinda wish we still had McCann but it is what it is.

Virtanen shouldn't be a selection. He has graduated (notice how Horvat wasn't a choice in last year's poll?)

edit: I read the HFboards criteria, but I disagree with it. If you are no longer eligible for the Calder you shouldn't be a "prospect"

Thanks for sharing.

Is Gaudette that good? Asking because I don't really know much about him.

For my curiosity, what is his projection as a NHLer?

There's a fairly significant drop off after Stecher imo. I have Gaudette in the same tier as Brisebois and Lockwood.

The second half of his freshman season was quite impressive, but his upside is still a hardworking two way third liner.

Here's a write up on him that was posted to CDC today.

Thanks. Yeah saw that. Kinda cool to see Stan Smyl to say, "He contributes everywhere such as the penalty kill and power play, but what impressed me was his play five-on-five. He stood out in that area and to me five-on-five makes a difference in a player and is going to make a difference in his game.â€

Another year of NCAA and then a pro contract?
