hold $hit you guys are sad

The guy hasnt played in a month, undersized, and is a UFA. What did you want?

Anything to complain. How about you watch him play and make a judgement call?

and IMO habs must be working on something because White is coming back soon, and we have a lot of healthy forwards.

Well, congratulations to Nathan Beaulieu.

Other than that, this trade doesn't mean much.

That's the positive in this move. Now hopefully we let Bouillon go at the end of the season and trade Murray if anyone out there wants him and bring up Tinordi next year

People don't realize that nobody will give you anything for soft and small defenseman. Only in the Montreal bubble does Diaz have any value. It's a miracle we got anything for Diaz. Slowly but surely we are building towards having normal sized hockey players on our roster. Weise is fast and a big body, he will be better than having Parros out there.

I don't understand how people think Diaz is worth so much? he's an undersized D-man. He's soft as hell. I'm happy with the trade. Welcome to montreal Dale Weise.

Where is Monctonscout to remind us how valuable Diaz is?

Weise is not much better than Blunden.

Habs are having tough time against bigger teams as was witnessed by recent games with Tampa and Winnepeg. Weise provides more grit on the bottom two lines.

Habs still need a tough physical top six forward... the manhandling of Gallagher by opposing teams with no response from his teammates (yeah, you MaxPAC) IS AN EFFING DISGRACE!

Diaz is better than Boullion and Murray. He's actually a RD too. He was playing against tougher competition most of the season and had to play with Boullion the rest. He's a decent cheap #5/6 puck moving R.D Build through the draft? Trade him for a draft pick. No need for another Blunden. Oh well, at least he didn't dump Eller for some 13th forward yet.

Trade a 17 minute guy when used properly for a 4th liner that won't have an NHL job in a year. Lets hope he takes Therrien with him.
