Plays with grit, defensively so-so, will fight but isn't big. Some offensive potential, still pretty young. Best asset is straight-ahead speed. Decent fourth liner with third-line potential. Like many Canucks, has had a bad season and people are down on him but only his 2nd year in NHL.

A pick would have been better honestly. Stacking more 4th line grinders on the team is not the way to go. Even Diaz in a package with something else would have probably landed a better player but who am I to know Bergevin is the mastermind
