Not paying Nash 4+ mil to play 4th like and Gorton has talked about getting a gritty player who can play. Roussel fits perfectlyNash instead of roussel? Nash instead of roussel.
The Oilers already made a big mistake with Lucic on money and term. Why would they want to probably over pay and over term a 33 year fading star. They need youth and speed more than old and rich.C'mon Rick. Connor and Drai need a sniper on the left side. Come put up 40 next year and make some bank the year after.
What do you think will happen in the offseason to Mr Nash?
Will the Bruins try and extend him before July 1st? Will he test free agency, and if so possible destinations.
What could he get on the market where he's at in his career?
Bit of a cost differenceNash instead of roussel? Nash instead of roussel.
I know, but why pay a guy 4-5 million to play on the fourth line? They've got cap don't worry
to flex your economic musclesI know, but why pay a guy 4-5 million to play on the fourth line?
I think that knocks a lot of team's out of the bidding. He hasn't hit 40 points in years and he's in his 30's. The league isn't short on dumb GM's though, so you never know. But, because he would want some stability, I can see him taking a bit less annually to get a 3rd year.
3 years at anywhere between 12-14 million total
