The one guy that sticks out to me in a bad way would be Kuznetsov. A guy who is only there due to his offense, but whose offense isn't really all that great considering his usage and linemates.

Malkin > Kane.

Toews with a huge drop to number 27.

And yeah, it is McDavid > Crosby.

Matthews at 10th is too high, but actually surprised he is not higher considering it is TSN!

Suters best days are behind him

I personally wouldn't have him on this list.

I'd replace him with another d-man

People think is a top 10 D-man because he plays a ton of minutes.

Disagree, he was 2nd in the NHL in goals, and top 10 in many, many metrics. Unless you are measuring only points, then that is different, but as an all around player, I think at the end of the year he will be higher.

Matthews 10th, Laine 26th.

This is the most biased listing I have seen in a long time. Absolutely terrible. Not reliable.

Goalies are pretty bang on according to order.

Defense

Too High: Subban, Weber,

Too Low: Pietro, Vlasic

Forwards

Too High:Matthews, Scheifele, Draisaitl, Kuznetsov, Marner, Toews, Pasta

Too Low: I don't think anyone is too low, just move down the players that are too high and shift everyone else up

I'm sure every Calder voter was biased as well

He had some questions last year regarding production away from Sheif and whatever, so I can see why. However, after this season I think both will be ranked in the top 10.

He isn't even listed. But he should be there before Suter

I'd have Crosby #1 still and Malkin ahead of Kane. Probably Price too.

Lowest Matthews will be ranked for the next decade.

Crosby should be number one, Malkin should be higher than Kane, and Kucherov and Burns shouldn't be top 10

And what is Matthews doing at #10?

True. I'd put him @ 8. He has a bigger impact on Toronto than Hedman/Burns have on TBL/SJ. Good one for catching that one.

??? I don't follow this.

He doesn't play on the 1st powerplay unit, and he doesn't play on the first line. Last year his linemates were Johansson and Williams, while Backstrom's were Ovechkin and Oshie. That doesn't seem like optimal usage and linemates.
