Habs had a prospect in the 50s whose progress was stalled because he couldn't shut up.
Legend has it (from a book I read as a kid) that immediately upon arriving with the club he was offering Rocket Richard unsolicited advice on how to score.
He told the coach (Irvin? Blake?) that he was having trouble scoring from the place he was being positioned - the bench. He was shipped out soon after and played a long time in the minors with similar stories all along the way.
Anybody know the name of the guy?
