Trying to be helpful here, not attack you so please don't take it that way: while I agree with you that a lot of the rhetoric on here can be ridiculous, you're only making it worse by generalizing "Yak lovers" or "whining about Yak" as one singular strawman. It just makes people want to respond equally forcefully when they weren't in disagreement with your original point.

Again, I agree more or less with what you've been saying so far, just want to point out that venting your frustration this way pretty much invites more of what you're complaining about.
I edited my post to take that out, sorry.

I'm not so sure... don't we have the luxury of having three elite level pairs, so that everyone on the top three lines gets someone to play with? And then we have 2 of 3 decent plugs (Pouliot, Lander) sorta settled... if we can just find one more "play doesn't die" winger, we'd be set.

I actually liked the idea of Yak with McDavid, so I'd try something like:

Lander McDavid Yak
Pouliot RNH Ebs
Hall Drai XXX (Purcell? doesn't seem to fit... XXXX in trade?)

Then give all three lines equal time.

Whoa. I legitimately have never thought to arrange them this way. I actually really like this setup and hope they try it once or twice in preseason now.

Kudos for being original!
