Teams, please make some damn trades already. Getting restless with the speculations and rumors.

You ask and you shall receive. ;)

Really like that deal for Montreal although Drouin seems like a bit of a headcase.

Eberle kinda sounds French, maybe we can trade him for Pacioretty. :sarcasm:

Bob Stauffer also said Mark Fayne may start the year on the 3rd pair and believes there could be some soft interest on Benoit Pouliot during the year from a team who has a guy who's coached him before.

Given how many times Pouliot has been moved he's had a ton of coaches over the years.

Focusing primarily on head coaches, potentially interested teams would be? Ott (Guy Boucher), TB (Jon Cooper), NYR (Align Vigneault), & MTL (Claude Julien)

I'd say the Rangers and Senators don't have the wiggle room for it, Yzerman seems too smart to bite on Pouliot unless he's dumping a bad contract back on us. Making me think MTL is the most likely place, also worth noting the associate coach Kirk Muller has coached Pouliot before and assistant coach Daniel Lacroix has coached Poulout on 3 separate teams.

Shows how highly regarded Sergachev is. Have to see how much Montreal pays Drouin to know who won this deal.

Gotta assume Galchenyuk is basically done there at this point with this move

Segachev is a high price because that dude is GOING to be great, but Drouin is basically what they've needed forever. Someone who actually has the skill and ability to push the river.

Pacioretty is a terrific goal scorer but has never been complimented properly. Give him and Radulov some breathing room.

I wonder, this the conversation about "soft" interest from a team of a former coach, maybe that's Montreal

Maybe

To MTL: Nuge & Pouliot

To EDM: MysteryboxChenyuk, Plekanec and 1st.

Think the trade will favor TB when we look back. Its a bit risky though at this point since Sergachev is still a prospect.

Thata bold!!! We lose a bit in the first deal, Avs lose a little in the 2nd other two are fair IF the trouba trade is done Pre-Expansion outside of that the jets lose
