Trade away the legends Letang, Malkin and Crosby and bet on Jarry, E.Karlsson and Eller at least many young drafters replace the older Letang, Malkin and Crosby, three 1st picks in 2024 for the old fox Crosby and Malkin leave for American, Canadian or Russian team one player + one pick for Letang, The Penguins are in need of younger talents even with younger ones playing hockey. The Penguins never wins again with Malkin and Letang and late Crosby need new challenge.

Not sure there'd be much market for them at this point factoring in NMC's. But I so wish they'd move on.

They should have let Letang go eons ago.

Why the org is/was always so high on him?? Who the hell knows??? :help: He never even won a Norris.

Not to mention he’s had a five-cent brain his entire career night in night out. :eyeroll:

Plus they showed they can win without him. Meanwhile you’d think he has like 10 Norris trophies with the way the org/media is/was always circlejerking over him. :shakehead :shakehead

“Big 3” my ass. This was/is Sid and Geno’s team.

A couple of things:

1) Letang was their #1D, and an above-average #1D, for years.
2) He overcame strokes to come back and play
3) He was the best player by far on the heroic 2011 Penguins team without the other 2 guys that nearly got to the 2nd round
4) In all honesty he was the best of the 3 during the 2016 Cup Run. Sid just got the Smythe by default but wasn't the most deserving
5) The 2 years post-COVID he clearly surpassed Geno, and was 1/1A with Sid
6) Our 2017 run was an absolute fluke and purely driven by luck and great goaltending. Don't care that he was out. Washington and Nashville obliterated us but we won the goalie battles.

He has become an absolute train wreck over the last month and probably responsible more than any other player for the collapse this year, but give him his respect.

He’s a respected guy sure, but also vastly overrated.

I don't think the team has any interest in trading Crosby. He puts butts in seats. Even if they're planning to rebuild, they will keep him for as long as possible.

Three old ones Letang, Crosby and Malkin can be traded.

Jarry, Karlsson and Eller at least is rebulding planning.

Yeah, man great plan, keep the wildly inconsistent goalie who just let 4 goals in on 10 shots yesterday.

Any other words of wisdom for us? Maybe buy a stock when it's at its highest value and hold on to it until it completely bottoms out?

Jarry was bad yesterday or that NYR played over capabilities?
