Mantha his first year in the AHL he got just 33 points,some players take longer to develop....Nicolas Roy will finish the season with probably 40 points pretty good for a rookie and will build on that next year.

They retain 2M off of Brassard's contract for this season and next (dead cap space), and give away a prospect in Tobias Lindberg.
edit: they only get a 4th from Pittsburgh (Vancouver's 2018), not a 2nd round pick.
