Apparently he didn't want to be moved, owner loves the idea of "from the Regina Pats" in every highlight video of his for years, and they'll be making money off Bedard jerseys for the next 20 years like Erie and McDavid.

Like another user said, expect Bedard to be playing for Canada in the Mens World Champs in the spring. Probably better for his development than a mem cup run. Can spend more time in the gym and get a taste of playing with some NHL vets.

Dylan Guenther's rights to Seattle and Ozzy Wiesblatt's rights to Portland. No guarantee either goes, but if Guenther ends up there, is there such thing as TOO much talent on one roster?

whens the deadline for Guenther to be sent down to Seattle and be playoff eligible? Could Arizona use him til the seasons over and then send him down? Decent bet for Seattle regardless. Arizona might want to tank harder and he's been doing well for them.

Cause you know when the Rangers got Bure, Lindros, Fleury etc they just ripped it up and won Stanley Cup after Stanley Cup.

I saw a tweet that said February 10 was the deadline to send pro players back to junior.

Well the deadline was January 10, so no they did not trade him. Some people said he didn't want to be moved. Possibly because he wants to play for Team Canada at the World Championships. And staying with the Pats will allow him to do that because they won't have a long playoff run.

We are about to find out and man it's exciting in the WHL this year even if Seattle is far and away the favorite.
