Might turn out to be a really good deal for Everett.
That's how you expedite a rebuild by 2+ years. Regina Pats will be toiling at the bottom of the league for years to come because they refused to trade Bedard.

Seattle has 1 Import spot left once Lambert comes soon.

I would imagine they will utilize that opportunity to add another import. Id imagine if they did, it would be a defenseman cause my god they dont need to add anymore forwards and obviously their goalie situation is unreal with both Milic and Ratzlaff

If that's the case, those three 1sts must be 2024, 2025, and 2026 as Winnipeg doesn't have a 2023 1st (Spokane, Graham Sward).

With that, Winnipeg's top three picks in the next four drafts are...

2023: 3rd, 5th, 6th (RD)
2024: 5th, 7th (SPO), 7th
2025: 5th, 7th, 8th
2026: 7th, 8th, 9th

They better hope they win this year.

hopefully it's a good return, the Giants have some good young players but are in total rebuild mode.

Holy Crap is Ostapchuk really going to be worth that price?

here's the thing they'll get other picks later by giving up one of their guys at the various deadlines.
time will tell forsure

after this season, there will be many many frustrating years for the team and its fans

Would be unbelievable to see the Blazers win the Memorial Cup though at home

Oh that's nothing.

Everett gave up 2 players for 4 players and 10 draft picks (4 are first rounders)

And somehow the biggest story here is that after years of excellence the Silvertips will likely continue to be excellent. Huge return to them and a smart call to sell despite being in a solid playoff position.

There goes the idea that Bedard is going to Kamloops. That is, unless the Blazers plan on trading their bus or something, what else do they have to give?

He's not going anywhere. He'll finish in Regina, get eliminated first round and then go play for Canada at the World Championships.
