ROR is absolutely the RIGHT Target for the Leafs, I love it.
Now I wonder if they gave up a 1st to do it, Most likely

Knies is staying put so I'm happy. Wanted ROR and was okay with giving up a first.

What was Accaris value? The 2nd? 3rd?

Abramov and Gaudette are basically contract spots going the other way .. Abramov may turn into a 3rd or 4th liner but I wouldn't bet on it.

Lol Abramov and Gaudette are nothing burgers and frankly so are a late 2nd and 3rd.

This is an awesome trade for the Leafs. It’s all about the playoffs and I’ll go to battle with ROR on my team any day.

It’s basically a 3rd for Acciari and a 1st and 2nd for ROR. All late round picks. You do this a million times out of a million as Toronto.

Huge upgrade for TML.

It's an overpayment by Toronto, but all they care about is whether they win. This deal is a success if they win because of it. If they can't go deep in the playoffs, it's going to look terrible.

That's how all of Dubas' moves will be viewed moving forward. He's had enough time to put his team together.
