I wonder if he gets some games with the Leafs.

Hes better than Holzer, Granberg (who is still young) and arguably Robidas.

Brennan is pretty garbage defensively though. He's all offense. He's also not very mobile. Think of Kostka.

He's definitely not better then Holzer, Granberg and Robidas.

We are trading D soon....it is the only thing that makes sense....we would need a D man to move up and one to take his place.

Polak is on the move is my guess....

The #Marlies have had trouble consistently scoring on the power play this season and using 4 forwards often. #leafs

Abbott is barely worth a contract spot, so I couldn't care less that we could have signed Brennan last summer. Situations change, and if he can jumpstart the Marlies PP then it's worth it.

Like some said, I wouldn't be surprised if he sees some NHL time though.

I had a soft spot for Abbott. Local kid who was an underdog because of his size.

Oh well. He looks to be having a bit of a difficult season this year and by the sounds of it, the Marlies could use some PP help.

Wouldn't mind keeping him around for a couple years on the Marlies. Could eat big minutes, put up big points and captain the team down there.

I always wish we gave Brennan a legit shot with the Leafs. He dominates the AHL at times, and I don't see him being any worse defensively than Gardiner is
