side note: i expect TDA to only be mediocre in Philly. Philly wont be successful, which will drive TDA crazier, and he will have a lot more pressure put on him being the hometown kid. He isnt known to handle pressure well.

I really don't know why the Canes did not offer the same deal to TDA that Philly did. The term is very short and the cap is reasonable. Now there is no one to run the PP. Available UFAs will come in a lot more expensive. And there is no way they think Morrow is ready.

Safe to say with the player involved and the reactions to said player we're way over that line at this point. Think it's probably best to revisit this once we know who we're signing/trading for/calling up to replace him.
