Didn't Rielly have a high ankle sprain a few years ago and it took a lot of games for him to get back up to speed? Lets not rush Lily back or allow him to rush himself back. Our back end isn't strong enough to get anywhere without everyone at 100%, and even then it's no better than average.

I just hope that when he gets back he's playable. Gruesome injury to come back from.
Yeah, I still remember when Rielly had a high ankle sprain in 2017 and when he came back he was horrible for a few months and the fans were relentless on him. Of course once the playoffs came around he played excellent against Washington.

It takes a certain level of pride in showing your support for this TEAM.

Fans disgust with the lack of response to Liljegren's injury is warranted. It's proven Leafs fans are happy to watch their favourite team lose. So long as they do it together.

It's getting harder and harder to cheer for this collection of individuals though.

It all comes back to having the desire to win. You can't just inject a little snot into the lineup and hope to become a winning team. You need to inject desire to win bad enough the players are willing to smash someone's front teeth out.

Like what should have happened to Marchand.

How much desire the team has depends on the organisation. A franchise that wants to win at all costs will find players who feel the same way. Fans will always cheer for players on a team like that.

Nobody enjoys supporting a bunch of pampered millionaires who won't stand up for themselves or each other.
