I think Logan's were around $2500. His would have been around the same time I guess.

My dad had implants back in the 70's--most if not all of his teeth. It was $20,000 back then!

This is why you have to learn how to play hockey: to pay for the dentist bills. :sarcasm: ;)

Well it looks like that POS owner Dean Spanos is gonna take my Chargers out of San Diego. Pretty sure I am done with the NFL if that happens.

The Packers would be happy to have you as another fan. All are welcome!

Didn't the Chargers come from LA?

That is cool! My daughter might like that too, it's sufficiently geeky and smart. Train 'em up right, I always say.

Tomorrow's high here is -3 F and the low is -10. Am I crazy for actually liking that? So long as there is not too much snow, I would rather be a bit cold, than too hot.

Yep. White stuff

(sits back down)
(clicks on weather link)

30 F.

(shrugs)

Meh. Could be worse. Not like that Alberta weather hasn't come down to us before.

It never occurred to me that Cr was the 24th element. I could have used this in college! I would like one of those clocks.

Edit: I just noticed the signature on the clock. I once paid for Bassam's hotel room. He was a professor at UW in Madison, then at the National Science Foundation in DC.

It's not that crazy. If it ever gets that cold here I like to go outside to see what that really feels like. But then I'm over it and want it to warm up. Otherwise I love hot weather. I love the days when it's upper 90's and really humid.

The Calgary weather is starting to grow on me. Am not sure if I would be able to survive North Carolina or Alabama any longer.

Actually, who am I kidding, hell yeah I could :yo:

Anything below 50 degrees or so is a bit of an annoyance to me. I can handle it I just don't like it. Given a choice between cold and hot I'll take hot weather any day. I feel like if you can't wear shorts and a t-shirt the weather isn't very good and that includes rain also, no matter the temperature. I'm more of a desert climate person really. When I lived in Florida it was fine because it was great to be 85 degrees in the winter but on the flip side the constant thunderstorms drove me nuts.

My "good" range seems to be 40-60. I hate the freezing cold, but HATE the heat worse.

I like all temps for a few days--nice to experience the freezing cold knowing it'll be gone soon. Hot's okay as long as the humidity isn't too high, too. But given my preference, it would be in the range of around 55 to 80. Not too hot, not too cold--warm enough to get outside and do things, cool enough to breathe.
