I have a bunch of cards. I am only 16 but I have about 1000 cards. I think having a jersey card or a autograph form Lemieux, Gretzky, Yzerman is just the coolest thing to have. It is the closest thing to a game worn jersey I have of a player.

honestly, to get true card value ebay is much better than beckett..

HONESTLY, they both have their flaws. Beckett is more in-depth whereas eBay depends on demand for any given card. Just because you can buy a card for 1 cent on eBay doens't mean thats how much it is worth. Ebay is the worlds garage sale combined with a big auction. Top end pieces can go for very large amounts, but mostly cards are at bargain prices because thats all people are looking for - deals.

If you've ever been to a sportscard/memorobilia show you'll see that most prices are based on Beckett values and then marked down in an attempt to sell. But prices here are never as low as those on eBay.

Of course all this is only showing you the MARKET VALUE of the cards, but that is assuming you are willing to sell your favorite cards.
