You guys don't want Filpulla, there's a reason Detroit is letting him walk in spite of his talent. The Wings don't let good players walk out the door without a reason.

Not sure the #NJDevils want to fork out the money it'll take, but I think Damien Brunner would be a great fit.

Yes, pleaseeeeeeeee.

They HAVE TO at this point.

If Lou was so willling to give out the type of money he did to Clowe, than it would be downright idiotic NOT to even consider going after Damien Brunner.

TSN said "just over 5 mil" If he signed for like 5.2 mil at the MOST, I might be a little mad about the Clowe signing.

RT @NHLbyMatty: Weiss is going to be $6 mil a year signing for Wings or Blues .... That appears to be what it's coming down to. #stlblues

Poile is a smart GM. Stalberg is going help his top 2 scoring lines.

Lou likes Clowe. He's willing to sign players he has a positive opinion of, players he knows well. Brunner may be a complete mystery to him other than his stat line.

The search for decent-skating, physical wingers with the ability to score is a growing trend in the NHL. After seeing Lucic and some of the guys on LA, it's no surprise and the price tag for those players reflects that trend.

Agreed. I question his character. The team needs his speed, but speed alone isnt enough for me to want him here.

I was never sold on Stalberg.

That's pretty steep. Glad we aren't going after that.

With Josefson and Henrique signed our forward corps is full. Pretty sure we are done for the day. Got 2 months to tweak with a depth signing or trade

5.25. WOW. Not as high as I thought... Must be front loaded? I can't see how Lou couldn't match that... Unless he really just didn't want to be here.
