I mean, ultimately if Wood becomes a top six forward I'll have to re-evaluate my current views on MacFarland, but I do believe he's shown he can do spot duty for injuries in the future.

Yeah, he's above a point a game this season and still providing Selke level defense. Although he's already taken 9x the PIMs this season. With 18 already he's a downright goon compared to last season when he ammased a staggering total of 2 minutes.

Talent has always been there, now he wants to win hockey games.

This is why Tartar got the f***ing boot. Drouin worked his ass off to get better. Mack was right in pushing for him. CLEARLY.

I think we sometimes take for granted the work ethic guys like Mack and Nuke bring outside of the hockey games. It can be inspiring and infectious to the guys around them.

We all saw the extra work Drouin was putting in before the season started, the extra practices, extra time in with Mack.
Confidence, effort, some PP1 time and more and more coach’s trust and we’re finally seeing the results.
