Did Makarov put up 100+ point seasons while being plus 70 and dominating from D?
Orr was far more impactful offensively and defensively than Makarov. And Gretzky had the puck so his defensive was controlling the play.

Makarov won eight World tournaments and two Olympics and were a top scorer as slope.

It started as a top 17 list, then expanded to 23 to include a player that couldn't make the NHL in his prime...honestly, it's the best list I have ever seen. I'd love an expansive breakdown of why each player is where they're at.

Larry Robinson fits the criteria. Didn't score a lot, but he could pick his spots and did at times go end for end.

He certainly did the rest.

I just listened to a bit of a Rick Middleton podcast, and they were talking about his success as a 1 v 1 player, but he specifically mentioned Robinson as a guy who he just could never beat.

Too big, too rangy, and too good of a skater.
