C'mon down to Lou's Island, Vlad.
Vlad (50% retention for):
Uncle Leo
Thomas Hickey
A 2nd round pick in 2022
Random prospect not named (Wilde, Salo, Raty, Bolduc)

Yeah, as an Islanders fan I can’t see this happening as much as I’d like for that to be the offer. Vlad is good but not what the Islanders want on the cap for this year at full contract.

Zuccarello for Tarasenko if Zuccarello is willing to waive NMC

Avs need a top 6 winger and have ~$4m capspace so would need some serious retention. Send Compher in the other direction and Avs would need less retention though. Could be doable but I doubt St. Louis are interested in sending Tarasenko to a division rival in case he heats up again.

Per @TheFourthPeriod, the #NJDevils, Rangers, and Islanders are “in a battle” for Vladimir Tarasenko.
He adds that there “has been progress” on a trade.
Where is this posted? I don’t see it on Twitter or TFP’s website.

He would be a great fit on the Isles. When healthy this is a dominant goal scorer.

Would be glad for NYR to get him at the right price as well.

He's probably gonna get moved for another thicc contract. So, not much of a battle

Yeah sure, until the next shoulder surgery. That'll be what, number 4?

The two prior surgeries didn’t fix it, that’s why he’s upset. But he’s been given a clean bill of health now. All indications are that it’s fully repaired. He’s playing without limitations.
