I think Edmonton is going BPA. There's players who have interesting traits and I feel this is a nice change from picking for needs. Glad we are shoring up the defence more and more.

Is this a decent pick? Overage but RH and produces points. Scratches all the itches.

I don't know, but per future considerations he's a calm defender with a good outlet pass and apparently already has a pro level shot, protects the puck well and doesn't mind roughing up opponents. Knocks on him are skating and his defensive zone play needs further improvement.

I wonder when Bleackley goes. I didn't see him going in the top 3 rounds, so he might go in the next round or two.
