I think Edmonton is going BPA. There's players who have interesting traits and I feel this is a nice change from picking for needs. Glad we are shoring up the defence more and more.

Yep. Given how few picks we have, we've done well. A team like Toronto IMO has done a brutal job given how many picks they have.

I don't know, but per future considerations he's a calm defender with a good outlet pass and apparently already has a pro level shot, protects the puck well and doesn't mind roughing up opponents. Knocks on him are skating and his defensive zone play needs further improvement.

I like the picks so far too, but that might be because of the surprise of Puljujarvi dropping into our laps. Niemelainen and Berglund, in particular, are interesting choices.
