Dahlin is one of the ballsiest young d-men you will ever see. He loves dekes, creative plays, 1 on 1 risky moves off the rush. He's a super talent, but he is a risk taker. He would be ruined in this organization and have it coached out of him. Robert Hagg is the template.

I can’t wait for Konecny to put up 25 and 30 in Calgary in 2019. Instant fan favorite.

Just imagine players like Gaudreau or Pastrnak or whichever young super talent on this team. They would be set up to fail, never live up to their potential. This is a skill development graveyard, and it f***ing scares me.

Lot of words that ignore reality. Get off your knees. Hextall's draft philosophy contradicts his team building strategy. This has manifested since he took over in 2014. I and other posters have been pointing this at him for well over a year and a half. This is the culmination of several years of pro scouting issues. Our prospect pool is good yes, but its all potential until fulfilled. We're a bottom feeder. Do you really think by next year we'll be a contender? The year after that?

Hak needs to go and if Hextall can't see that, he should probably go too. No matter how good his drafting is, it doesn't mean anything when he's okay with a coach that barely plays young players over the older, shittier players. Hak NEEDS to be gone.
