Not enough skill to hang in the top 6 nor grit/defense for bottom 6.
Couldn’t produce anywhere in TBs lineup. Saw some time on PP with our top talent, so it wasn’t for lack of opportunities given to him.

The NHL game is too fast for his brain. Most of the time he is just standing stationary wondering what’s going on. Now he can snipe a puck but he’s just too rarely in position to do so. His skating is average and no defensive ability. The kinda of player that excels in the AHL or WHL that does not transfer. Wish the guy well but only a foolish GM would take a chance.

but only IF they waive him and he's unclaimed,
and explicitly, or 'on paper,' assigned to Laval, for the 'AHL Clear Day" just after TDL,

The guy was an undrafted free agent who became the Syracuse Crunch career goals, assists and points leader. He also played 68 NHL games with 12 goals and 18 points. There's plenty of teams that don't even get that out of 1st round picks.
