This one will be a close game...Finland will try to get the game together and Switzerland can have a surprise, because almost the whole team has been practising together for two weeks. Finland has maybe two ice practises before the game.

Finland lines for the game:

Niittymäki

Selänne - S. Koivu - Lehtinen
J.Jokinen - O.Jokinen - Peltonen
Laaksonen - Kapanen - Hentunen
Ruutu - M.Koivu - Nieminen
13.th man Hagman

Timonen - Numminen
Salo - Nummelin
Berg - Lydman
7th man Niemi

Bring it on! :handclap:

btw i hate swiss chocolate! :p:

You should try Finnish chocolate and a brand called Fazer...way much better ;)

Where is the line up for Swiss team? I think that the official Olympics page info sucks big time, or is at least very very slow with the info.

Ruutu: MVP of the game!

Burn Berne
The definitive line-up won't be announced until the puck drops, because they want to deceide before the game who's playing in net.

No, Gerber or Aebischer will be the hero of this matchup!!!!

Thank God I got SVT because crappy YLE will not broadcast the game live. :yo:

3-1 Finland

You really should buy Digibox :) ...it's live on YLE24.

4-2 Finland, and goals by Ruutu, Kapanen, Selänne and Salo!

According to Seiska and YLE txt-tv it will be broadcasted live, first from YLE 1 and after the first period ends, from YLE 2.

The schedule is a mess though, just looked how the games will be shown, some are on the Urheilukanava, some on YLE 1 or YLE 2, some on YLE's digichannels and some on SVT. Anyway, back to the Canada-Italy game :)

The nordic combined team event has been cancelled, so Yle will broadcast the game live on the main channel :handclap: :yo:

Bring on the Swiss! Finland 5-2. Selanne 2, Lehtinen, Jokinen and AJ Niemi :sarcasm: with the goals

I predict 3-3. Swiss goalie with a huge game, Niitty with atleast one soft goal.
