Niagara announcers might be worse then Sudbury. They've now confused McCallum and McCoy..... How...

Wolves can play spoiler against Oshawa and potentially deny them the Conference with a statement game. Unfortunately in the end it leads to helping North Bay win the conference lol. But considering Oshawa won the last two games in Sudbury essentially propelling the Gens to the top of the Conference. Statement game against Oshawa. Keep your head up with a guy like Punnett. Oshawa can win the Conference on home ice. Let's go Sudbury make a statement and show your skill. And goalie for tomorrow?

As for the goalie... what a toss-up. Krawchuk was on the bench tonight. Maybe to keep Vondras fresh for tomorrow? Vandenberg played tonight. Made some good saves but was a light night relatively speaking. I'm thinking Vandenberg with a short leash.

Gens still unsure what team they will ice tomorrow. If Peterborough can upset North Bay then tomorrow's game means nothing and Oshawa will rest.

Makes sense since the Oshawa/Sudbury game starts at 6:05. Well after the Peterborough/North Bay game. Not sure what the deadline is on having your lineup in to the OHL.

I think we have a pretty good idea who is going to win between North Bay and Pete's tmr.. huge game for NB to give them a shot at the Conference and needing help from Sudbury lol

The rule doesn't specify when the lineup needs to submitted to the officials other than it needs to be done prior to warm ups. Visiting also has to submit their lineup first.

Given the Petes/Battalion gsme will be done by 430ish....That will leave plenty of time for Oshawa to decide what team they put on the ice.

Thanks for the information. From experience posting the starting lineup, I know that it has been done around 2 hours before game time.

Niagara announcers: "you can tell Sud uru is well coached"

That statement really says a lot about the hockey they watch their team play.
The team has played with much more structure and discipline over the last two games. Berehowskys influence already being felt. Let’s see if they can do this against a good team.

Hate to use +/- as a stat but Anania being +45 on this team is insane
Nothing wrong with using +/- at all as a stat.

They did play well and kept their foot on the gas pedal the past two games but let’s not forget who their opponents were.

Was Drake just hired for the end of this year or is he pretty much KMac’s replacement? Does anybody remember how Drake did as a coach with us in the past? Was he good!? Did we have good defensive structure? Etc.

As a whole the team was ok defensively but player development was quite weak. Lots of high draft picks, particularly on D failed to impress.

Drake's resume, knowledge and experiences will make him a different coach from back then. I expect he would be HC next year, but would not assess him based on his last experience here. Suffice to say the rapport was good enough for him to return. Let's start there - next year 😉

Looks like we will face Mississauga round one with Mississauga having home ice advantage if we loss to Oshawa.
