Everyone needs a day off occasionally….Wait why are they extending a recent healthy-scratch to that type of contract?
Well he has an excellent role model (Kuzy)in how to get complacent after you sign a big deal….Contract is good for current Strome. But I have a feeling Strome is the type of guy to get lazy/complacent.
Also, this does not mean the end of Kuzy since Backstrom is still a huge question mark.
If “hey they just extended your replacement“ doesn’t…..he will prove to be the guy we already know he is.I for one am hoping this will do something to Kuznetsovs psyche and maybe make him give a care again

Some blank Stats from this season. The one on the top is Strome and the one on The bottom is the #1 trade deadline target lots of people here have been talking about.
No questions. He has got to goLove this deal, we’re getting the rest of Strome’s prime at a fair cost.
Eller is gone for sure, Friedman confirmed that the Caps are probably looking to move him at the deadline.
Next question mark is Mantha.
