How has Daddy looked? I worry that he can't sustain the effort he showed with the Stars last season through this year. He floated a ton in Montreal before the trade deadline.

Dadonov might be an older model but he’s got low mileage. He came back to the NHL in 2017 after being gone since 2012. Had played less than 100 games before that. He should be fine another year or two.

He's got two even strength assists and is plus 3. So that's good at least, but yes if he could run our second PP that would be so awesome

Minnesota Mild lose again, who knew replacing useless f*** Reaves with useless fat f*** Pat Maroon wasn't going to be the difference maker for that franchise.

I know it's preseason...I know, but damn if this team fires on all cylinders, with Stankoven and maybe even Bourque up, with Harley and Nils comfortable and producing, getting a top RD at the deadline...man

This team needs Lundkvist in the lineup imo. Noticeable puck-moving difference when he's on the ice. Being able to roll with him, Harley, and Miro would be beautiful.

Also, Stankoven looks like a NHL player and if he keeps this up he might force DeBoer's hand.

I also think DeBoer reallyyy likes Bourque. Similar to what Bowness liked about him too, you can just throw him into any situation and he will be pretty steady and reliable. Reminds me of how he used Johnston in last years preseason. Bourque really needs to get quicker though. He had a chance for a breakaway in the 2nd after he picked off a pass and was easily caught by 2 guys from behind. Just needs to be a step quicker to accelerate. He doesn't have the strength/size to make up for his lack of quickness.

Surprised they even let him come back to the game for a bit. Really sucks though, was hoping he would get a good look on that Texas roster
