Just watched the lovely video of Abdiel Collazo, the young boy in remission from Leukemia (?).

Three things I liked from that and two I could tie into today's game:

- when Boyle said he had Leukemia too - even though he is young so he doesnt show it well, the mind blowing aspect of knowing a 32 year old NHL player has the same problems (to an extent, I dont know enough about it to judge) as him and can still succeed is amazing.

- Prout asks him 'But what do you do when the guys dont listen (to the play)?' and Abdiel's response is 'Blow the whistle.'

- Hayes asks where #10 is on the play Abdiel reads at practice and Abdiel's response is 'Youre not in it'

The little boy already understands Hayes' places on the bench and already knows to blow thr whistle on Zacha in a play hahaha

Video also had me realize (and confirm a bit) that Hayes and Prout are locker room guys. Both bigger and not the best but like Clowe in a way before he retired, while he was sitting, they can still help out a lot just from their presence

It shouldn't be surprising that the lineup isn't changing after a pretty sound win. I know we all want Zacha in for Hayes, but coaches tend to do this more often than not.

Here's hoping he is back in tomorrow after a 2nd straight win.

To be fair even Zacha should understand he wasn't getting in tonight even if he had the best practice of the year yesterday or whenever they last practiced.

It's so dumb though. Hayes had an awful turnover that led to a chance in front of the net and he took a penalty on the play. Also was a team worst 28 CF%. He's pure garbage every game.

And Zacha has been taken out of the lineup after wins. He gets treated like dog**** by Hynes.

I don't disagree at all. He's certainly analyzed differently by the staff than Hayes is.
