Here's hoping they take several wrong turns, overshoot by about 5000 miles and come down my street.

Out of sheer laziness it sounds like parking at NYNY or Park MGM and just hanging out at Toshiba is the best play since the bus/busses will be coming down Park Ave so you won't have to go out to LV Blvd. to see that.

I will be going with some friends but would be down for a little HF meet up if there is interest.

It's not even really going to be night. Sunset on Saturday is supposed to be at 8 pm sharp. So most of the actual parade itself will be plenty visible and it will end off while dark and the casinos are all lit up which will make for a better scene and better visibility for inevitable fireworks. I think this is the perfect time to do it, personally. Middle of the day will be blisteringly hot.

I'm down. My plan is to head down to beerhaus or somewhere nearby around 3 so I can get a prime spot. I made the call to be with my family for the cup win but I can't jinx them anymore if I'm down there. I wanted to be with that mass of fans at Toshiba Plaza on Tuesday but even if I wasn't walking bad luck, I couldn't take time off work to be there in time. Wanna make up for it at the parade.

Also I haven't been to a single fan fest in 6 years so it'll be make up for that too.

Total distance including u turn then down Park is about 1.5 miles. Two miles of parade frontage including both sides of LVBLVD from Trop to Park and both sides down Park

True. Also they're really restrictive with what you're allowed to bring. Wanted to bring a water backpack to deal with the heat but they're not allowed. Along with a laundry list of things.

Tried checking out both the ABC & the CBS broadcasts of this, but they are completely unwatchable. I lasted 2 mins on each channel. Local news in Vegas, sigh..

Too bad ATTSN isn't covering this with Shane & Dave.

Channel 13 had a Dave and Shane appearance and they're going to be there next year, but they seemed hamboned already.

It's brutal....Feels like a bunch of high school kids went out there with a camera & a mannequin reporter asking ridiculous questions. Was hurting my head. I put the US Open back on.

Yeah, local reporters always suck. I don't know why they wouldn't pay a dude like Mike McKenna, Deryk Engelland or someone in that vein a grand or two to be the host of this. Especially since it's being internationally broadcast to the 25,000 watching.
