Well, I posted the source in post #18 of this thread.

I remembered it from before as well. Nill was seen as a future GM a long time ago. He paid his dues and it was only a matter of time. Habs were interested and he may very well have been our next GM if not for the issues he had to deal with.

these tanking threads are so painfully embarrassing. People who make threads like this are the same people who shouldn't be aloud back on the bandwagon when we start playing better and winning the division.


Total glass half empty mentality. You guys are looking down the standings?!!!!??? Get off it! If you watched the habs from 98-2004 you knew that we went through much harder times back then. We are so much better off now but no one can ever be happy

Did not know that. I hope it isn`t because Bergevin speaks french and Nill doesn`t.

Balooney, Nill stated publically he wasnt available for the GM position for family reasons (when we were looking for that position). Unless that was not true.. Who knows...
