tyler plante is really under the radar is a lot of these. The general consensus i have seen in that he is a top 60 pick, yet in a few drafts on here, hes slipped to 85, not been picked in 3 rounds. Kind of interesting.

Mason Raymond

Raymond played tier 2 in Alberta, league champion and national silver medalist Camrose Kodiaks . He won the AJHL MVP 55gp-40g-42a-82pts and can flat out fly. I believe he is off to Minnesota-Duluth

Sounds good, I think great/good skating will be more important than in years past.
Is taking Raymond at 50 sound about right?

I am not too sure, I have heard any where from an late second round to fourth round. He is a little under sized at I believe 5'11" 180 but should have potential to fill out. His skating and offensive instincts are outstanding and competes hard, the nights I have watched him

Maybe with our 3rd rounder, 50 seems a little early imo. But if that's how it ends up, I hope he works out well for us.
