Our team had terrible ownership prior to Hasso . See: TV contract. We'do be so much better off with a better contract
My question was somewhat rehtorical, but I completely agree. Jamison and his cronies were in way over their heads. But after a few years of realizing the hockey novelty had worn off in San Jose, ownership finally "got" that the path to profitability was being competitive and they authorized Wilson's full use of cap space. So, the question remains, "did Wilson have to run everything by Jamison on how he built the team", a la Snow and Wang on the Island? Was the Sharks success from 06-11 really Jamison's doing?
